By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Almondly mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
The Service is operated by Hyde Organics Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number: 15766340).
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years of age. If we become aware that a user is under 16, we reserve the right to terminate their account and delete associated personal data.
Almondly is a consumer information platform designed to help users better understand product ingredients and composition. The Service enables users to scan product barcodes or upload images of ingredient lists, after which Almondly analyses the ingredients using automated systems to generate informational product scores.
The Service is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Almondly does not act as a product safety authority, regulatory body, or certification service.
Users may scan product barcodes or upload photographs of ingredient lists. Almondly analyses these inputs using automated systems, including optical character recognition (OCR), machine learning models, and proprietary databases, to identify ingredients and generate product scores.
The accuracy of results depends on multiple factors including image quality, packaging legibility, database coverage, and the limitations of automated analysis technology. Almondly does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any results.
Product scores and ingredient classifications represent algorithmically generated composite assessments based on Almondly's interpretation of available scientific and regulatory sources. They are provided for general informational and educational purposes only and should not be treated as statements of fact regarding the safety, quality, legality, or regulatory status of any product.
Scores may change over time as methodology is refined, new data becomes available, or scientific understanding evolves.
Ingredient classifications and risk assessments are based on Almondly's interpretation of publicly available scientific literature, regulatory publications, and other reference sources. Scientific evidence in this field is frequently evolving, subject to ongoing debate, and may be interpreted differently by different researchers and institutions.
Almondly does not represent that its interpretations reflect the consensus of the scientific community, any specific regulatory authority, or any professional body.
Where Almondly references potential endocrine or hormonal activity of ingredients, these references reflect Almondly's interpretation of findings reported in publicly available scientific literature, which may be subject to ongoing debate, revision, and differing interpretation. Ingredient data processed by Almondly may originate from product packaging, third-party ingredient and barcode databases, automated OCR and text extraction systems, and user submissions. Almondly does not independently verify the accuracy of information on product packaging or in third-party databases.
Product formulations may change without notice, and there may be discrepancies between packaged ingredient lists and actual product contents. Almondly is not responsible for inaccuracies originating from these sources.
Almondly is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorised by any product manufacturer, brand, or retailer whose products are referenced, analysed, or scored within the Service. Product names, brand names, and trademarks referenced within the Service are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for the purpose of product identification.
To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify Almondly immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
You may delete your account at any time through app settings or by contacting [email protected]. Almondly reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
By uploading product images, ingredient photographs, or other content to the Service ("User Content"), you grant Almondly a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable licence to use, process, store, reproduce, and create derivative works from such User Content for the purposes of operating, improving, and developing the Service.
You represent and warrant that you have the right to submit User Content and that it does not infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.

For monthly and annual subscriptions:
Almondly reserves the right to modify subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not apply to the current billing period.
Almondly offers a one-time lifetime subscription for a fixed fee of £99.99, which grants access to all current premium features for the lifetime of the Service.
The lifetime subscription refers to the lifetime of the Almondly Service, not the lifetime of the user. Almondly and Hyde Organics Ltd do not guarantee that the Service will remain available indefinitely. In the event that the Service is discontinued, suspended, or wound down for any reason — including but not limited to business closure, insolvency, or a decision to cease operations — no refund, compensation, or alternative remedy will be provided to lifetime subscription holders.
By purchasing a lifetime subscription, you acknowledge and accept that:
Nothing in this clause excludes any statutory rights you may have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection legislation.
Monthly and annual subscriptions are processed entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Refunds for these subscriptions are governed by the refund policies of the applicable app store. Hyde Organics Ltd does not process refunds directly for app store purchases.
The lifetime subscription fee of £99.99 is non-refundable once payment has been processed, except where you are entitled to a refund under applicable consumer protection law, including but not limited to the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, if you purchase a lifetime subscription, you have a 14-day right to cancel and receive a full refund, provided you have not begun using the premium features during that period. By accessing premium features within the 14-day cancellation period, you acknowledge that you are waiving your right to cancel under these Regulations.
To request a refund where you believe you are entitled to one under applicable law, contact us at [email protected]. We will review your request and respond within 14 days.
The Almondly app, including its software, code, user interface, design, scoring methodology, ingredient analysis algorithms, classification systems, and the compiled ingredient database, constitutes proprietary intellectual property owned by Hyde Organics Ltd. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
"Almondly" is a trademark of Hyde Organics Ltd (UK Trade Mark Application No. UK00004327004, filed 20 January 2026, currently pending registration). The Almondly name, logo, and associated branding may not be used, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent from Hyde Organics Ltd.
The Almondly ingredient database is protected under the Copyright and Rights in Databases Regulations 1997 and applicable copyright law. You may not extract, reutilise, reproduce, or redistribute all or any substantial part of the Almondly database without express written authorisation from Hyde Organics Ltd.
You agree not to:
Almondly reserves the right to implement technical measures to enforce these restrictions. Violation may result in immediate account termination.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hyde Organics Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your violation of any applicable law.
Almondly operates independently of the brands, manufacturers, and retailers whose products are analysed through the Service. Almondly does not accept payments, sponsorships, or other incentives from brands to influence product scores or ingredient classifications. Scores are generated through Almondly's automated analytical methodology without commercial influence.
Almondly may update its ingredient evaluation methodology, scoring algorithms, classification criteria, and database content at any time. Such changes may result in modifications to previously generated product scores. Almondly is not obligated to notify users of routine methodology updates.
The Service may rely on data, APIs, and services provided by third parties. Almondly does not control and is not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or content of third-party data or services.
These Terms are between you and Hyde Organics Ltd only, and not with Apple Inc., Google LLC, or any other app store operator. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not responsible for the Service and have no obligation to provide maintenance, support, or warranty services in relation to it.
Apple Inc. and Google LLC, and their respective subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and shall have the right to enforce these Terms against you as third-party beneficiaries.
Almondly reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.
In the event of any dispute, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through informal negotiation by contacting [email protected]. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may pursue formal resolution through the courts of England and Wales.
Almondly shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, terrorism, governmental action, power failure, or internet or telecommunications failure.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Almondly Privacy Policy and any supplementary terms for premium features, constitute the entire agreement between you and Hyde Organics Ltd regarding the use of the Service.
Almondly reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified within the app and, where appropriate, by email, and will take effect 30 days after posting. Your continued use of the Service following the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
